Treatment Programs
Evidence-based care tailored to your recovery
Medical Detox
Medical detox at SFLN Rehab is the critical first phase of treatment, lasting 3 to 7 days depending on the substance and severity of dependence. Our physicians provide 24/7 monitoring with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols tailored to each patient's clinical presentation.
We treat withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, prescription stimulants, benzodiazepines, and other substances using evidence-based pharmacological interventions. Vital signs are tracked continuously, and comfort measures are integrated throughout the process. Our goal is medical stabilization — clearing the physiological barrier so therapeutic work can begin immediately upon transition to residential care.
Residential Treatment
Our 30-to-90-day residential program is the core of SFLN Rehab's clinical-intensive model. Patients participate in three structured therapy sessions each day: morning group processing, afternoon individual counseling, and an evening specialty modality such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
The residential environment is designed for focus and accountability. Patients follow a structured daily schedule that begins at 7:30 AM and includes dedicated time for physical fitness, nutritional meals from our farm-to-table kitchen, and peer community activities. For veterans and first responders, the structured format mirrors the discipline they already understand — applied now toward their own well-being.
Outpatient Program
Our outpatient program provides 8 to 12 weeks of structured therapy for patients who have completed residential treatment or who require a flexible care option that accommodates work and family obligations. Sessions meet multiple times per week and emphasize relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral strategies, and motivational enhancement.
Outpatient care at SFLN Rehab is not a reduced version of residential — it is a distinct program built for the transition phase. Patients develop real-world coping skills, practice community reintegration strategies, and maintain clinical support while rebuilding their daily routines in the Tujunga area.
Dual Diagnosis
An estimated 50% of individuals with substance use disorders also have a co-occurring mental health condition. At SFLN Rehab, dual diagnosis treatment is not an add-on — it is integrated into every level of care. Our psychiatric team conducts thorough assessments during intake and collaborates with therapists to address conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder alongside addiction.
For veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers, undiagnosed trauma and occupational stress frequently drive substance use. Our dual diagnosis approach uses EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and individual trauma-focused counseling to treat the underlying conditions — not just the symptoms that brought someone through our door.
